Inspiration

The first thing I imagined when creating this piece was an impossible landscape: mountains under a galaxy sky, with the moon in the center illuminating everything.

I thought a lot about nature and wanted to bring it to life, creating a tree surrounded by vegetation both above and below, as if all the energy of the piece was born from it and expanded outwards.

From that idea came the resin dripping down its sides: a representation of cannabis concentrate, something that comes from nature itself and, due to its intensity, seems to overflow.

To build this universe, I mainly used oranges, yellows, and reds. These colors appear in the resin, but they also transform into mountains, spaces, and psychedelic shapes that blend together, making the landscape appear to be in constant motion.

As a final detail, I wanted to hide a small cannabis leaf inside a sphere, almost as if it were protected. Something small and valuable kept within this entire universe.

Sticky Trip is born from imagining nature as a place that is not only observed, but expands, transforms, and takes you to another state.

Technique: Airtight glass jar, acrylic paint, and ultra-glossy transparent varnish.
